How can I print a medication list to show my doctor?

Short answer: In PrivateSteps you can keep a medication list with the dose, how often you take it and the dates. When you have an appointment, print the list, save it as a PDF or export it as a CSV. The app only records what you enter. It gives no medical advice.

What you can keep

Add or change entries whenever your care team changes something.

Getting it ready for an appointment

  1. Open the Medications list.
  2. Check that each entry is up to date.
  3. Print it, save it as a PDF, or export a CSV.

A printed page or a PDF is easy to hand over. A CSV opens in a spreadsheet if you prefer that.

What the app does not do

PrivateSteps is not a medical device. It does not check interactions, judge doses or tell you what to take. It simply keeps your list tidy so you can show it.

Please talk to your own doctor or care team about your medications.

Kept private

Your list stays only on your phone. There is no account, no cloud and no sharing. Read more on our privacy page, or see how to track health numbers together.

A calmer appointment

Many of us find it hard to remember every name and dose when we are sitting in the exam room. A clear list helps you say what you take without searching your memory.

Because dates are kept with each entry, you can also show when something started or stopped. Your doctor or care team can then decide what the list means for you.

PrivateSteps records and prints. The decisions stay with you and your care team.
